Pet Doors Built Into a Sliding Door and a Hinged Glass Door

Pet door installed in the glass of a white sliding patio door

Our crew recently finished two pet door installs, and each one was set up to fit the door the homeowner already had.

The first pet door went right into the glass of a sliding patio door. The slider still opens and closes the way it always has, and the pet door sits low in the glass, so there was no cutting into a wall and no need to replace the whole door. The dog gets an easy way in and out to the patio without anyone getting up to let them out.

The second install went into a full-glass hinged door. Same idea: the pet door is built into a new glass panel, so the door keeps its clean, bright look and still swings and locks like normal.

Both installs include a security panel. It slides into place over the pet door to help keep people out, and it lets you decide when your animal can go in or out. When you want the opening back, it pops right out.
