Here’s some of the best decorated neighborhoods In Sacramento, Folsom, Auburn, Folsom, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, Rocklin, and Roseville!

 

Orangevale – Dovewood Ct.
These guys know how to decorate! Your kids will be in awe at the beautiful displays! They’ve also been known to have balloons and decorations of popular kids cartoons, so expect to see some favorite characters decked out in their Christmas best! Click Here for Google Maps.

Sacramento – Fabulous Forties – (42nd st – 45th st near Folsom Blvd)
These streets are legendary for their amazing Christmas displays that span 3 whole streets. Not just content with lighting up their houses, they string lights all the way accross the street too! Check it out, you won’t want to miss this one! I’d recommend a stop at Temple Coffee for some hot chocolate, which is nearby and open late! Click Here for Google Maps. 

Sacramento – Old Sacramento
Old Sacramento’s sixth annual Theatre of Lights. The free outdoor performances blends a symphony of lights, sounds and visual effects with a reading of “The Night Before Christmas.” Shows continue at 6:15 and 7:45 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays, with special holiday performances at 6:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and 7 and 8:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Rocklin – Pebble Creek Dr
In Rocklin a group of homes have joined together on two streets (Pebble Creek Drive and Strand Road) to create possibly the best lights display in Rocklin. There are over 300 high quality handcrafted characters, all from cartoons we’ve come to know and love. Some are animated and others are programmed to talk. Click Here for Google Maps.

Roseville – Twinwood Loop
This place is brilliant! Beautiful houses that are even more beautifully decorated. This street is a lot of fun to walk or drive through! I’d recommend checking out Bloom Coffee located nearby for some late night coffee or hot chocolate. Click Here for Google Maps.

Rancho Cordova – Lambrusca Drive
These house call their street “The Street of Christmas Dreams” they have music, lots of lit up houses, and all sorts of fun displays! Click Here for Google Maps.

Folsom – Pradera Ct

Folsom – Folsom Zoo
The Folsom Zoo Sanctuary hosts its fifth annual Wild Nights and Holiday Lights event featuring thousands of colorful lights, decorated trees, and holiday scenery. Santa will make a visit each night, and the zoo’s bear mascot Santa Paws will greet visitors and pose for photos .Admission is $5 per person.Click here for the zoo’s website.
